A big hello and a very warm welcome back after the summer break! We hope you managed to re-energize this summer despite the unforgiving heat of UAE.
First things first, we complete two years this fall and are just as excited as the first day to continue exploring and raising the bar! Earlier this year our work was published in the National Pavilion UAE at the Venice Biennale. We even spent a part of our summer exploring the exhibition and the city of Venice.
As we begin a new year at The Tryptic Note, we have decided to rework our outlook on architecture and urbanity. Our core focus still remains unchanged - challenging norms and exploring the relevance of sustainable technologies and practices in the field.
With one of us moving outside the UAE, we have taken the decision to push the geographical boundary of our articles. A half of our efforts still remain grounded in the UAE, while the other half brings front happenings in Europe. At the crux of it, we take a stand on the position of UAE internationally and how sustainable development can impact this exchange. With this change we have also decided to publish twice a month with a contribution from our amended viewpoints.
We look forward to the next chapter and hope to keep receiving your enthusiasm and support!
